Now more than ever, our community needs our help. Southlake is preparing for an unprecedented strain on our hospital’s resources, and doing everything we can to keep our patients, staff and communities safe. Southlake’s COVID-19 Action Fund is supporting the purchase of equipment like Medical Field Tents to increase our surge capacity for infectious patients, ventilators to provide life-sustaining support for those with compromised lung function, glidescopes for controlled intubation for greater accuracy and protection for healthcare workers, mask fit testing and personal protective equipment to keep front-line workers safe, and a Wellness Cart with snacks, beverages and comfort items for staff to keep them going during long shifts. Our support ensures their teams have the tools they need to care for our family, friends and neighbours, when they need it most.
